Cannot believe it is June!! Crazy, where has the year gone!? This month favourites I actually struggled to pick out some products, but that's basically because I'm still using pretty much everything I liked last month. Anyway I managed to pick out a few new favourites for this month.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in Shell

I honestly didn't think I'd like this foundation, I love my Revlon ColorStay and just didn't really feel the need for a sheer foundation. However I was seriously tempted on a recent trip to Boots to see what all the fuss is about. And I really really like it, really nice and lightweight although I think I got a shade slightly too dark for me.. Review to follow.

Rimmel Blush in Pink Rose

I've never really tried Rimmel's blushes however I picked this one up last month and its just a really pretty subtle pink with a slight shimmer to it. I love wearing this on natural days as it adds a really nice sheen to the cheeks.

Rimmel ScandalEyes in Bulletproof Beige

I mentioned in a recent haul that I was seriously impressed with this. Lasts all day, and doesn't crease at all plus it's such a beautiful colour. Definitely plan to pick up some more of these.

Soap&Glory Righteous Body Butter

I love the smell of this body butter, so amazing. And it sinks into the skin so well, you could put this on and be out of the door within 10 minutes which is perfect for me!

Benefit They're Real Mascara

I got this sample in the latest Elle magazine and I really like this mascara. Not sure I'd pay £19.50 for the full size however it is a lovely mascara and I have been using it most days this month.

Bourjois Cream Blush in 02 Healthy Glow

I just had to pick up one of these and i'm so glad I did. Gives a really natural glow to the cheeks.

17 Eyeshadow Trio in In The Nude
I know I've featured this palette so many times but I literally use it all the time, especially the brown shade.

Oh my, how have I not raved about this eye trio from 17 before!! Literally one of the best eye trios I have ever picked up. Its called 'In The Nude' and contains three gorgeous neutral colours; a warm brown, a silvery taupe and a shimmery champagne colour. I always find with palettes that there is always a few colours that I never end up using however with this palette I use every single colour all the time. If I'm ever going away this palette is firmly in my makeup bag.

The colours are all really pigmented and really soft and easy to apply. The one I probably get the most wear out of is the brown colour, its so easy to wear during the day and is also really subtle, which has been great lately as I've been finding some of my eyeshadows a little too shimmery for daytime. A lovely little palette and a bargain at only £5.49!!

Mac Palette (Woodwinked, Mulch, Satin Taupe, Twinks)

I finally filled my Mac palette with the addition of Twinks. I really love this palette and I honestly can't wait to purchase another one and start filling that. My favourite one at the moment has to be Twinks, its such a lovely plumy brown that really brings out my hazel and green eyes!

Revlon ColourStay Foundation

This has reappeared into my daily routine. I just love this foundation, perfect for those with oily skin! I usually mix this with a BB cream to give a more natural coverage but I find if I apply the foundation with my hands and then use a buffing brush over the top, this gives a really flawless natural look.

Stila Smudge Pot in Kitten*

I honestly don't know why some people don't like this. Its a beautiful colour that I've loved wearing underneath my Mac eyeshadows, its texture is slightly different to other cream shadows but it blends really well and stays put all day!

MUA Blusher in Shade 6

A really lovely dusty pink blusher with a slight shimmer to it. I love this because its almost like a highlighter and blusher in one, perfect for the lazy like me.

Essie Nail Polish in Stylenomics

This is such a gorgeous dark nail polish. A very very dark petrol colour that is verging on being black, absolutely stunning and well worth a try if you like vampy polishes.

17 Eyeshadow Trio in 'In The Nude'

The brown eyeshadow out of this palette is stunning (you can see i've already made a dent in it), a lovely mid-brown with a slight satin finish. Really nice for those more natural days, just a sweep of this over the lids makes a subtle Olsen-esque smokey eye.

Soap & Glory 'The Righteous Butter'

This smells divine!! Very heavily scented but it amazing when slathered on after a shower.

Lush 'Mask of Magnaminty'

When I first bought this but I wasn't at all impressed, but thats probably because I was using it as a scrub. Once used properly as a face mask it is amazing. Clears my skin up completely when i have a breakout!

The Body Shop Shea Butter Shower Cream

This is a really creamy shower gel that I find extremely moisturising, and plus it smells amazingg! I don't shower without this now aha.

Garnier Soothing Eye Makeup Remover

I bought this up on a whim because I was in need of a new makeup remover. It removes every trace of eye makeup with minimal scrubbing. Seriously makes taking eye makeup off so easy!!

Best Foundation: Revlon ColorStay for Oily/Combo Skin

I discovered this after MissBudgetBeauty raved about it and I absolutely love it. Its the perfect foundation for me, high coverage, controls my shine yet still feels light on the skin!

Best Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I must have used this concealer all year, I don't use anything else. Its great, full coverage, hides any blemishes and covers my bluey circles. Plus its an absolute bargain.

Best Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte

Tanya Burr loves this powder and so do I, although I haven't tried many other powders I just haven't found the need to because this is almost perfect. I usually only need to reapply it once a day and thats with my super oily skin.

Best Blusher: 17 Blusher is Damson

This blusher is lovely, I really want to try more colours. This is just a gorgeous pale pinky colour with a slightly plummy undertone. Perfect for everyday.

Best Bronzer:

Now I don't actually have a best bronzer because quite honestly I haven't found one that stands out above the rest. Bronzer is definitely something I plan to try lots of this year, I want to find a good one!

Best Eyeshadow Base: Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze/Permanent Taupe

So much hype over these cream shadows and I would probably say I have worn these every single day underneath my eyeshadow, I still use the MUA eye primer underneath and that combination makes my eyeshadow last from 7 in the morning to 10 at night, amazing!

Best Eyeshadow: Mac Eyeshadows in Woodwinked, Mulch and Satin Taupe

So I'm cheating a bit with this because I got Woodwinked and Satin Taupe fairly recently how I am in love with them, I've used them everyday since I got them, gorgeous colours. I got Mulch at the beginning of 2012 and its a shadow I reach for time and time again when i'm going out. The perfect smoky brown colour.

Best Eyebrow Pencil: Rimmel Brow Pencil (forgot to photograph it oops.)

Its a great affordable eye pencil that suits my eyebrow colour pretty damn well!

Best Eyeliner: Avon SuperShock in 'Blackberry' and 'Khaki' AND Rimmel ScandalEyes in 'Nude', 'Taupe' and 'Bronze'

So I couldn't decided between these but they are definitely equally as good as each other. Both waterproof and both long lasting and between them both, I can get almost every colour I wish for. My favourite colour out of all of these has to be 'Blackberry', a gorgeous dark plummy red, perfect alternative to black.

Best Mascara: Revlon GrowLucious Mascara

Now this is an odd one, whilst the mascara isn't amazing for my lashes and the look is good but nothing special when I'm wearing it. However it is seriously making my lashes look so much fuller and longer, i've noticed such a huge difference.

Best Brushes: Real Techniques Buffing Brush and Expert Face Brush

Do I need to say anything about these brushes? Two words: they're amazing!! I alternate between them depending on the coverage I want and I hope they last forever aha!

It thats time of year again, party season!! Work parties, Christmas parties, New years eve parties... (my birthday parties!!) aha. And for me I always find myself reaching for the same kind of makeup around this time of year. I always up for a gorgeous bronze smokey bronze, it's always the type of look I go for around Christmas. These are some of my favourite products that I used to create a bronze smoky eye:

First I always have to use a bit of the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze, I find its a great base for any smoky eye but in particular I find layering a bronze smokey eye over this cream shadow base just makes my eyes pop! Definitely a must have for me.

Next is eyeshadow, one of my ultimate favourites for what is perhaps the simplest bronze smoky eye ever is Mac Eyeshadow in Mulch. Mulch has to be one of my favourite Mac eyeshadows, on its own its a lovely brown with gold shimmer but paired with the color tattoo it transforms into a stunning bronzy colour. Another firm favourite but much more glitzy combo is this 17 Eyeshadow Trio in Enraged; these three shades are all very shimmery but if you fancy going all out for a dramatic eye, they are gorgeous when used all together; the pale gold all over the lid, the shimmery pale pink in the inner corner of the eye and the darker colour along the lash line and through the crease. A more recent purchase is this Revlon Eyeshadow Quad in Adventurous. These shades are all lovely but I especially love the bronze colour combined with the matte dark brown through the crease, more understated that the 17 Trio but still stunning!

And last but not least is eyeliner and mascara. I'm a huge fan of pencil eyeliners and two of my firm favourites have to be Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl in Bronze and Avon SuperShock Gel Liner in Black and Blackberry. These two eyeliners have to be the longest lasting eyeliners ever, seriously these don't budge and they are really nice colours too. And you can't have a proper smokey eye without plenty of mascara; my favourite has to be the Avon SuperShock Max Mascara, seriously good with lots of volume!

17 BB Cream in Light

I have recently rediscovered this BB cream and I absolutely love it. Its fairly thick and feels more like a foundation but with a lighter more natural coverage, so its great for Winter when you don't want to be caked in foundation but you want something thats still going to cover.

Topshop Nails in 'Ruthless'

I wore this for my Christmas Architecture ball last night and I can't believe how long I haven't worn this for, the colour is a stunning dark pinky red. Amazing for Autumn/Winter.

Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner in Blackberry

I have been wearing this liner so much over the past few weeks, a stunning dark plum colour. Its a great alternative to black and looks a lot less harsh. The Avon Supershock eyeliners are amazing, long lasting, budgeproof and glide on really nicely, definitely up there as my holy grail eyeliner.

Mac Eyeshadow in Mulch

I just love this colour. Mulch has always been a very firm favourite of mine, this ones definitely going to keep cropping up in my favourites time and time again. A gorgeous chocolately brown with goldish/reddish shimmer in it.

17 Blusher in Damson Wine

This blusher is such a nice, really subtle pinky colour. I'm not sure why but this has just been the blusher I've always picked up this month. Lovely and natural.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze

The maybelline color tattoos are still a very firm favourite of mine, especially this bronze colour. Its just amazing for wearing daily as a base with a neutral eyeshadow over the top. Such an easy daily look.

MUA Eyeshadow in Shade 12

Finally I've been picking up this eyeshadow quite a few times this week, a brown with green pearldescent shimmer. This is a very good dupe for Macs Club only I think the MUA shadow has more green shimmer in it. But this colour has been such a great alternative to a grey smokey eye, perfect in the run up to Christmas.

And there it is, another monthly favourites! Aa I can't actually believe it is December. Very very excited for Christmas. For once I am on time with my monthly favourites and wow, doesn't time fly by!! Its flipping less than two months to Christmas and I am so excited, Christmas and the build up is my favourite time of year, I just can't wait:D Anyway onto another monthly favourites, with a couple of reappearances from last time and a few newbies!

Maybelline FIT Me Foundation

This is a foundation that I picked up on a whim while in Boots a few weeks ago, its was 3 for 2 and I fancied trying a new foundation. This is a really nice transition foundation from Summer to Winter, its light on the skin while still giving plenty of coverage; it also has a bit of a sheer finish and really brightens the skin. A full review will follow soon but I can see myself definitely using this throughout Winter.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush

Does this brush really need an explanation? After a few months on using the Expert Face brush I have now been converted back to the Buffing brush, a beautiful brush giving a flawless finish!

Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl in Taupe & Bronze

I spoke about these last month and did a review on them (found here), I just think these are amazing. I wear both of these colours as a base, the Taupe is perfect day to day with a neutral shadow over the top, and the Bronze is my newest addition but its perfect as either a liner or as a base with a smoky shadow over the top for the night. Stay put all day, seriously if you want a base that doesn't budge then these are it!

17 Eyeshadow Trio in 'In The Nude'

This is mainly the shadow trio over the top of the Kohl liner virtually everyday! My favourites are the brown and the grey but the cream colour is perfect for highlighting the brow bone. Basically a good mixture of neutrals which are perfect for the day.

MUA Bronzer in 'Shade 3'

This bronzer is the perfect healthy glow shade and has really added colour to my complexion during these past cold weeks. Not of the best quality but pretty damn good for its price tag of £1 and it does the job pretty well.

Models Own Nail Polish in 'Pray'

I love this nail polish, one of the ones I bought with the 50% off code and it is a firm favourite. A dark taupe colour that has hints of browns and greys, perfect for Autumn/Winter.

Eucerin Even Brighter Night Cream

Now this is a strange one and I wasn't sure whether to include it. I signed up to a Cosmopolitan Product Trial where you occasionally get sent products to try for a brand before it is released in the UK. So I got sent this night cream the other week and I absolutely love it, Eucerin wasn't a brand I'd heard of before but the night cream is a lovely thick cream that doesn't leave any residue on my skin unlike most night creams. It soaks in and leaves my skin soft and smooth and definitely brighter! Although this isn't on sale in the UK yet you can get Eucerin products from Boots.com and I'd definitely recommend a look!

I recently picked up these after seeing 'A Model Recommends' do a tutorial using them and I have used them so much since! Its a beautiful eyeshadow trio from 17, in the colour 'Enraged', containing three very shimmery bronzy colours; a dark, burnt bronze, a pale gold and an orangy copper colour. Now I'm not going to lie these aren't of amazing quality, but they are pretty good. The colour payoff is really good and the consistency is lovely and definitely not chalky, so easy to apply, however the fallout is not the best. However that's my only downfall, and I find that the fallout is reduced immensely if you press it onto the eyelid, rather than brush it on! Beware though, if you're not into shimmer, I would stay well away from these!!

Overall I can see myself using this loads over the next few weeks, and especially nearer christmas when I want a warm bronzy smoky eye! Beautiful, well worth a try and a look at some of the other trios:) I can't wait to get 'In The Nude' and 'Barely There'!

In the past few weeks I've been more and more interested in primers, especially after that heatwave we had a couple of months ago! I came across this one a few weeks ago when I was waiting for my sister in Boots; I was really intrigued because the tube is tiny and I remember thinking that it can't last very long at that size. So I opened it up and put a bit on the back of my hand and was instantly won over! The colour and consistency of this product is quite strange at first, almost like it should be sticky except its not!! All you need is a tiny 1/2 a pea sized amount and it blends out perfectly; leaving a smooth velvety finish, such a perfect base for your foundation.

I can definitely say after using this for 10 days in Greece that it definitely prolongs foundation wear and stopped my foundation sliding off, it would stay put for a good 5 - 6 hours which for my skin in temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius is a miracle!

Honestly just go and test this out in a Boots store and you will see what I mean! Well recommended!

So once again, I'm late with my July favourites:(, sorry guys! Anyway, most of my favourites this month have been hot summer related, in preparation and during my holiday to Corfu. 

Firstly probably one of my most used items this month is the MUA Undressed Palette; I am in love with this palette. The colours are so wearable and I have found myself using the pale taupe colours during the day over a primer and then adding some of the intense browns and blues through the crease and as a liner to create an evening look! Such an amazing palette, highly recommended.

Secondly, this is a fairly new one for me but definitely a winner so far, is Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. I have been looking for a tinted moisturiser for ages and I came across this (not a tinted moisturiser, I know!). This BB cream is towards the lighter end of a BB cream, more tinted moisturiser than foundation so its definitely a light coverage, which was perfect for going on holiday with. The SPF 30 was also a big winner for me, especially in Corfu!

Thirdly is the Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz. This toning spritz has been a lifesaver while I was in Corfu, I basically using this to freshen up in the morning after washing my face and it is so nice! I like to think of it as my Caudalie Beauty Elixir but more than half the price, I know Botanics have changed a lot of their formulas recently but this is one thing that is just as good if not better than before:)

Next is the 17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer, this primer is absolutely amazing. I won't say too much about this because I have a review coming soon but basically it leaves your skin so velvety and smooth and makes your foundation last so much longer and feel so much better as well!

Fifthly this Witch Blemish Stick has been a lifesaver. In the heat my skin breaks out a lot more, probably due to excess oil, however this blemish stick has been keeping my breakouts very short and sweet and my skin has consequently been so much clearer than it usually would be.

Last but not least, this month I have been loving this blusher by Natural Collection in 'Rosey Glow'. I've probably said before that I'm pretty new to blusher, I've always been more of an eyes and brows girl but I am in love with this blusher. Its definitely the perfect blusher for me, not too obvious but just enough, very muted!
