Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly 'Satsuma'
The perfect summer shade in my opinion. A dark orange colour with red tones in it. The formula of these is also amazing, gives a super gel like effect.

Maybelline Super Stay Gel Colour 'Divine Wine'
I never used to like pink nail polishes but this one has definitely won me over. In the winter I love vampy colours and this to me is the perfect summer alternative to those. A really nice berry pink colour. Goes with absolutely anything!

Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly 'Blue Grape'
Everyone has been going crazy for Electric/Royal Blue this Spring/Summer and personally I love wearing the shade on my nails. This one in particular is a really vibrant shade, highly recommended.

Barry M Hi-Shine 'Watermelon'
Not quite a 'Summer Bright' but I thought it fitted here more than the neutrals! A super dark teal colour that works surprisingly well in Summer as well as Winter.

Collection Lasting Gel Colour 'Coral Reef'
Probably my all time favourite summer nail polish at the moment. A really gorgeous coral colour that just seems to make my hands look amazing! Also looks great with a tan!!

Essie 'Stylenomics'

Not your typical summer nail polish colour but I love this dark forest green shade. Its very dark on the nails almost verging on black, perfect for those who like vampy nails.

Bourjois So Laque Glossy 'Amanda Defile'

This is such a lovely mint. Its more of a green mint than a blue mint which personally I prefer. The formula is also amazing.

Models Own 'Pray'

Again, probably not what most people would choose for summer but a really nice mushroomy grey colour, almost like a warm dark taupe.

Essie 'Absolutely Shore'

Probably my all-time favourite summer nail polish shade. A super pale mint colour that looks amazing with a tan. I don't know why there is so much hype over Essie's 'Mint Candy Apple' because this in my opinion is so much nicer!

Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly 'Lychee'

Another firm favourite of mine, a really gorgeous pinky nude colour. I usually find nude colours too grey for my skintone but this one compliments it perfectly!

Maybelline Super Stay Nail Polish in Divine Wine

I've been loving pink nail polishes lately and this is by far my favourite! A lovely deep pink colour with a really long lasting formula.

Collection Lasting Gel Colour in Coral Reef

Another pink toned nail polish, I never thought I'd ever like a coral nail polish but this one is gorgeous and I love the formula as well, definitely plan to pick some more shades up.

Mac Palette - Woodwinked, Satin Taupe, Mulch, Twinks

I go through phases of loving my Mac palette and then just not using it. This month I have been using it none stop, especially Woodwinked which is a really gorgeous gold shade that goes a deep bronze colour when blended out.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation in Buff

I would have thought that my Revlon ColorStay foundation would be too heavy for summer but it really is the only foundation that keeps oil at bay. I've loved mixing this with the Garnier BB Cream for Oily skin. The perfect summer combo for those with oily skin!

Barry M Eyeshadow in Shade 9

This is definitely a nighttime eyeshadow but it's a gorgeous shimmery dark gold colour. Really stunning!

Garnier Summer Body Tanning Lotion

I'm not big on fake tan but for summer I absolutely love this. I have the Deep Sunkissed shade and I just need two coats of this to get a lovely tan! I also love the smell, really reminds me of summer and holidays.

Marks and Spencer Limited Bronzer in Light

I've been loving using this bronzer this month, its not too orangey and just adds a really nice warmth to my face.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

After trying other moisturisers I just keep going back to this. Definitely a firm favourite of mine and its also the perfect makeup base!

Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express in Waterproof Black

I'd forgotten how much I love this mascara. You only need a couple of coats to get full lashes and the waterproof formula really doesn't budge! Perfect for holidays!

I'm sure you guys know by now how much of a fan I am of the Barry M Gelly Paints. I really love how thick they are and how they give such a glossy gel-like effect. I knew the moment that they released some more colours I'd have to pick up a few more. One colour really stood out to me and that was this electric blue. This shade of blue has literally been everywhere this Spring/Summer and I love wearing it on my nails with a monochrome outfit.

Hey guys, I'm back! I had a pretty hectic week of work and although I've still got a lot to do, I missed blogging too much aha! Anyway here are my April favourites, just a little late!

Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Satsuma

I know I featured this in my last favourites but this colour is just so nice and perfect for Summer. I would have never thought that an orange nail polish would be wearable but it really does seem to go with anything!

Essie Absolutely Shore

This is a recent addition to my collection after hearing Vivianna Does Makeup raving about it. It really is the perfect mint, I sometimes find some of the dark mints quite garish and really hard to wear. But this one is a gorgeous pale mint and it looks really lovely on the nails!

Sleek Blush in Suede

I've always been more of a pinky blush person however the past couple of months, I've been reaching for this peachier blush daily! Its quite a dark terracotta colour and I find it just adds a really nice glow to the cheeks.

MUA Eyeshadow in Shade 17

I've also been reaching for more matte eyeshadows this month and so I've been going back to my MUA neutral colours. You can probably tell how much I use this because I've hit pan aha, but it really does look lovely over my Taupe Maybelline Color Tattoo. It just adds a really nice definition to the eyes.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation

I've also gone back to my all time favourite foundation, I was starting to find this foundation a little cakey a couple of months ago however I started using it again a couple of weeks ago and I'm not sure why I found it cakey at all. It just gives a really nice flawless finish and is the only thing that really keeps my oil at bay!

REN ClearCalm 3 Clarity Restoring Mask

This mask is a dream!! It literally is amazing. I only had two small samples of this and am gutted I've almost finished them, will definitely be repurchasing asap! (Read my first impressions rave here!)

Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Wasteland

I had almost forgotten how much I love this shadow pencil. And now I've finally found a cheap sharpener that fits it, meaning I can start using it again (Superdrug double barrelled one, amazing!). Its a really soft, creamy consistency and looks amazing smudged around the eyes for a subtle smokey eye.

NYX Blush in Taupe

Yet again, another re-favourite! I use this daily and I'm not quite sure how I managed not to contour before owning this, I love it. Perfect for us pale girls!

Avon SuperShock Max Mascara

This has to be one of my favourite mascaras. A really thick brush that just adds so much volume to my lashes. Will definitely be buying this over and over again.

Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate

And finally, I found my Pomegranate Lip Butter! I love these lip butters, this one has a lovely hint of colour to  it and I find they just sit really nicely on the lips!

I was on holiday in Yorkshire over Easter and managed to get some rifling time in my sisters wardrobe, I came up with this gorgeous Topshop dress to wear out for a meal. I has forgotten how much I love these t-shirt dresses from Topshop. They are just so easy to wear and are super flattering. Definitely will have to be 'borrowing' this more often aha.

I was also still in my orange phase that week as you can probably tell by the orange lipstick and nails, seriously obsessed with that colour at the moment. The combination of bright orange and the sunny weather is making me want summer here right now!!

I have been so obsessed with orange nails and lips lately, so have been trying to find everyway I can of wearing it aha. Maybe its because the weather has been so nice this week, and I've been feeling super summery. I love this khaki shirt from Urban Outfitters, its so easy to wear and I love how it goes with literally everything.

And I apologise that I'm getting a bit predictable with these jeans and boots but they have literally been my favourite things these past few months, haha!

I didn't realise how recently I had posted an outfit post with this jumper and jeans haha, oops! Oh well, I though my Zara leopard shirt looked amazing with this jumper and my new Barry M Gelly Paint in 'Satsuma'. I really love this nail polish, I thought it'd be really hard to wear but it looks gorgeous with grey colours!

I'm currently on holiday in good old Yorkshire! Thankfully I still have internet connection haha, how sad am I?

Soap & Glory Hand Maid Anti-Bacterial Gel

I picked this up completely on a whim because I thought it looked nice aha! But I've been using it several times a day and this is actually my second one, oops! Smells amazing thought and does the job perfectly.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

After hearing the amazing hype surrounding this product I just knew I had to get it. A full review will be up soon but basically its balanced my skin out really well, I won't say its cleared up my skin completely, because it hasn't. But my skin is starting to gradually get clearer and the duo has also helped balance my oily skin. I no longer get shiny throughout the day which is amazing!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

I have been loving this foundation this month. Since I've been using the Effaclar Duo my skin hasn't been that oily which has meant that this foundation had been staying put all day with no need for touch ups. My Revlon ColorStay, as much as I love it, has just been that bit too heavy for my skin. The Fit Me foundation has been the perfect transition from Winter skin to Spring skin (not that you'd have guessed it was Spring!).

MUA Undress Me Too Palette

I must admit when I first got this palette, despite me loving the colours, I just didn't get much use out of it. However recently I've been reaching for it more and more. Especially the colour on the bottom row, far left. A really gorgeous palette and definitely one I'll keep going back to.

Benefit Fake Up Concealer

I recieved this at an event a few weeks ago and I've been wearing it daily. A really hydrating concealer with great coverage. With my skin it definitely needs a setting powder over the top but once it has been set it lasts all day!

NYX Taupe Blush

I have found my perfect contour (read my review here)! I love this colour, perfect for my pale skin and its really introduced me to the world of contouring!

Rimmel ScandalEyes Kohl Kajal in Bronze

I've been loving the subtle definition this has been giving my eyes this month. I've never been one for black eyeliner unless I'm going for a super smokey eye on a night out, this is just a lovely bronzey colour with a great formula. I wish Rimmel would release a dark brown ScandalEyes because that will be perfect, the only thing I'm missing eyeliner wise (any recommendations for a dark brown, leave them below)!

Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly Paints in Lychee, Watermelon and Satsuma

These have been everywhere on the blogsphere and I have to say, I'm hooked! The latest colour I picked up was Satsuma and it is literally the perfect orange, so stunning and I never thought I'd like orange nail polish, ever!

I've been really loving my nail polishes lately, seriously changing the colour every few days which I know is probably really bad for my nails, not giving them a break haha but oh well! These are my favourite Spring polishes, usually I tend to wear dark vampy polishes all year round but this year has been different for some reason. I don't know whether its the lack of sun but I've been drawn towards so many different bright colours, very unusual for me.

This is a really lovely bright teal which I love wearing. Its not too dark but its a lovely in between, not quite a bright polish but not quite a vampy polish. Anyway I really like it and find it surprising easy to wear!

H&M Nail Polish in 'Blue My Mind' here
I absolutely adore this nail polish. After lusting after Electric Blue items for ages I finally took the plunge and went for this nail polish (I've since bought a jumper in the colour aha). A bargain at £2.99 and definitely my all-time favourite colour for this Spring!

Essie Nail Polish in 'Stylenomics' here
I couldn't do a nail polish post without including a vampy one, sorry! Ha, I love this colour a super dark teal, verging on the side of black. A nice change to a dark vampy red which I tend to wear throughout Winter.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in 'Lychee' here
This has to be the perfect nude! Not too grey like many other nudes but then not too pink either. I can definitely see myself wearing this throughout Spring. I also love the finish of these polishes, super glossy and quite thick which gives a really professional finish!

Essie Nail Polish in 'Snap Happy'
I got this mini in the Essie Winter Collection but I think its much more suited to Spring. A gorgeous pillar box red, I think its quite hard to find a nice Summery red that isn't too dark and I think this is it!

Yet another Barry M Gelly Paint, I really love these and I am so looking forward to trying the Satsuma colour! This colour is a gorgeous dark green/teal, although I was a little put off originally by the fact its called Watermelon?! I thought it'd be a really weird green aha! I think this is one of the darkest colours they do in the range but I'm glad they have chosen a few dark colours because at first it looked to be all brights, which although I'm a fan of, I always go back to my dark vampy colours.

Recommend any other colours to me?

I finallyy got around to trying the Hi-Shine Gelly nail polishes from Barry M, I know I'm a little late on the bandwagon but to be honest when I looked at them when they were first out none of the colours stood out to me. I certainly don't remember seeing this nude colour. This is seriously the most excited I've been about a nude nail polish in a long time. Usually in theory I like nude nail polishes but in reality they are usually too grey toned for my skin tone and as such they just make my hands look weird. However this gorgeous pinky nude is just perfect for my skintone.

Onto the formula, I must admit I was a little disappointed when I tried this for the first time, I found it quite thick and it dried so quickly that I didn't get time to spread properly or I ended up putting too much on and then struggling to spread it again. However after I few nails I soon got into the swing of it, putting on just the right amount of product and I started to love this more and more. I actually really like the thick consistency now because my nails are quite rough and brittle and as such I usually have to put quite a few coats on to make them smooth. With this I only needed two coats, in fact I probably could have got away with one coat even but I fancied doing a second coat aha:)

Big fan of these, I'm hoping to get the red corally colour next, perfect for summer!

I recently purchased the Essie mini-winter collection; after hearing it was sold out everywhere, I couldn't resist when I saw it sitting alone on a shelf in Boots! I had been eyeing up Leading Lady and Beyond Cozy for a while but didn't want to spend the full £16 before I knew whether I liked them. I got the mini set for £10.00 but this was has to be by far my favourite, in fact I almost wish I had just bought a full size of this!

Leading Lady is a red nail polish with suspended red glitter, it looks stunning in the bottle and even better on the nails in my opinion. Here I put Barry M's 'Red Black' nail polish underneath and then 'Leading Lady' over the top. This is purely because in some other swatches I've seen of this, Leading Lady looked a little paler on the nails than in the bottom, yet I wanted the dark undertone to the bright ruby glitter. Anyway I loved the outcome and this will definitely be a combo I'll reaching for all year round; who says glitter can only be at Christmas?! I may even try pairing it with the Red and Black glitter I got from Barry M in this post, just to mix it up a bit aha:)

Yes yes I know... yet another glitter combo. What can I say, I've just been obsessed with glitter lately. This one is probably not one of my favourites but thats because I'm not a huge fan of silver; I'm much more of a gold girl! However it is still a beautiful combo, and if you love silver then you'll definitely love this!
