Money Supermarket recently asked 100 bloggers to reveal their holiday habits and how they prepare for their holiday. The results were actually pretty interesting, so I thought I'd post them on here for you to look at! I wasn't surprised that over half the bloggers take a smartphone on holiday with them, I don't think I'd be able to leave my iPhone at home aha.

Today I fancied a bit of a change with a lifestyle post and basically since I've been seriously into my music lately, I thought I'd share some of the albums I have been loving!!

If You Leave - DAUGHTER

Such a beautiful album! There is not a single song I dislike on this album, if you love calming music then you'll love this. Favourite songs have to be Still, Landfill, Candles, Smother and Run. But seriously I love them all and could listen to her all day!

Bad Blood - BASTILLE

Bastille have been a firm favourite of mine for a while and this is such an amazing album. A great mix of upbeat songs and ballads. A very catchy album. My favourite songs have to be Oblivion, Things We Lost In The Fire and Overjoyed.

Secondhand Rapture - MS MR

This album is my newest favourite and was recommended to me by someone on twitter.. and I'm so glad they did!! Seriously obsessed with this band after hearing only two songs!! Relatively upbeat music with some amazing melodies. Favourites songs have to be Fantasy, Hurricane and Bones.

An Awesome Wave - ALT-J
So gutted that I didn't get to see these in Newcastle the other week. However its only recently that I've started to listen to Alt-J, I loved Matilda when it was released but never got around to listening to the rest of the album. Such a different sound to anything else at the moment, a little bit old school but so nice to listen to! My favourite songs are Matilda, Taro and Ms.

I've been wanting to do one of these posts for absolutely ages! I love watching/reading them and since I bought the new Zara 'City' bag a month ago I just could resist doing a post to show it off aha.

Since getting to City bag I've been trying so hard not to overfill it, I really love the shape of it and I feel that if I fill it with bulky stuff then it will lose its shape much more easily.

Anadin Extra (Painkillers)

I can't go anywhere without knowing I have painkillers in my bag! I think they are such a necessity.

Korres Lip Butter in 'Guava'

This has to be my all time favourite lip butter so I like to make sure I have it handy on me at all times. Literally the most buttery lip butter ever!

Nivea Lip Butter in 'Caramel'

I really like these and love that they are so cheap. However despite it being in my bag I haven't been reaching for it much at all in the past few weeks because I'm not sure its the best for super dry lips like my have been recently.

Natural Collection Lipstick in 'Cherry'

This is the perfect red for me and I think it really suits my skintone. I love to smudge this into my lips underneath a lip balm just to add a bit of colour. I'm really starting to get used to colour on my lips!

Nivea Lip Cream

I don't usually carry this around and I usually just keep it for nighttime. At night I slather it all over my lips and it makes them so super soft and moisturised! However recently with my super dry lips I've been dabbing this on throughout the day and its helping so much!

Natwest 16 - 25 Railcard

Essential if you're a student like me. I save so much on my rail fares with it!

Silver Tin Pencil Case

Being an architecture student I have to carry around a load of pencils, pens, fine liners, etc. I don't tend to leave the house without them, just in case I want to sketch aha!

Friends and Rivals by Tilly Bagshawe

I don't usually carry a book but since I was travelling on the train the other day this has just stayed in my bag . I love chick flick kinda books and Tilly Bagshawe has to be my favourite author ever (Would recommend reading 'Adored' - best book ever)

Technically this would usually be in my pocket but for some reason I had left it in my bag aha. Anyway I carry it around with me daily, obviously.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder & Elf Powder Brush

Any oily skinned person would say forgetting the powder is not an option. I have three of these purely so I never forget one, aha.

Waterbottle

I used to have a much bigger one but it was really wide and I felt like it was stretching my bag so I switched to this slimmer bottle, I need to have water with me, especially as I'm usually out for most of the day!

So I thought it'd be nice to start telling you guys the Youtube channels and blogs that I absolutely love! I thought I'd start off with three fairly well known youtubers and my three favourite ever ones, these three have such amazing channels and I definitely stop whatever I'm doing and watch their videos as soon as they are up!

Firstly is Sammi from Beautycrush

I absolutely love Sammi's channel, her style is absolutely amazing, I would kill for this girls wardrobe! Not only that, I find that we have pretty similar tastes in makeup, anything Sammi likes I can be pretty sure that I'm going to like it too!

Next is Lily Pebbles from Lily Pebbles (Used to be What I Heart Today)

I remember watching Lily in some of her very first videos and since then she has grown so much. I just love her style of videos, shes very informative and just has a really lovely warm personality and I love how calming her voice is. Theres something about her that I really like and her videos are always spot on!

Finally is Barbara from ThePersianbabe

I love Barbara, shes so lovely to watch and I am in love with her style! I have watched every video that Barbara has ever done and I haven't disliked a single one.

So I've been think about doing this for a while now and I've only finally got around to it. I'm basically just going to go through my best gym and fitness tips, it won't be long until Summer is here and so I think its always best to start early. Plus I'm always interested in how other people stay fit and motivated:)

1.  Find a routine that suits you!

My friends absolutely love the treadmill at the gym, however me on the other hand, I hate it, with a passion! I absolutely loathe running and I would never be able to sustain going to the gym and going on the treadmill regularly. So instead I focus most of my time on the cross trainer and usually finish with 15 minutes on the bike. I think its really important to find out what you enjoy, or trust me, you'll never make it to the gym regularly!

2.  Mix it up, or you'll get bored!

I tend to stick to the same routine when I am doing cardio, however I only do cardio twice a week at most, a couple of other days a week I do either pilates or power yoga. I'm really lucky that my gym offers exercise classes free but if your gym doesn't then I would really suggest finding a gym with maybe a pool attached to it so you could possibly go swimming sometimes, etc. If you just go to the gym and go on the machines all the time, its going to get monotonous and if you're anything like me, you'll be bored silly in no time. bored = unmotivated

3.  Distract yourself!

This may sound like a strange one but I really don't understand how people can go to the gym and not listen to music or watch the TVs there. I always take my iPhone and listen to some upbeat music, I find that I end up doing my workout in time to the beat of the song I'm listening to and trust me its so much easier. I also love watching the TVs at the gym with subtitles; music + tv = double distraction!

My favourite workout song has to be 'Sleaze (feat. Mistajam) by Knife Party' not my usual type of music but boy does that song get me moving aha! If you don't like listening to music then maybe try make virtual lists in your head, plan out your blog posts for the next week or something, the time will go so much faster.

4.  Don't watch other people!

Not as in staring at other people (although don't do that aha) but as in try not to glance over at other people. They may be going twice as fast as you but that doesn't matter, concentrate on yourself because chances are they may be making it look easy but they'll probably be dying inside. Just ignore everything around you!

5.  Pace yourself!

Following on from last tip, don't try and do everything at once. If you go to the gym for your first time and do a high resistance at a high speed, you honestly won't last long and plus you'll make it really unenjoyable for yourself. I suggest starting at a low resistance and then every 5 mins, turn the resistance up a little and so on. You'll find that you can workout for much longer and you'll feel so much better at the end of it.

6.  Set yourself a goal!

I want to put emphasis on the 'a goal', I wouldn't advise setting more than a couple of goals purely because if you spread yourself over too many goals then because you are focusing on lots of goals you'll feel like your not getting anywhere whereas if you set one/two goal(s) you can put all your attention and focus into that. When you achieve the goal it'll be more motivating and you can make a next goal. For me personally my goal is to get a six pack (a nice womans six-pack aha) and so I do a mixture of cardio to get rid of fat and pilates (sometimes kickboxing) to harden the core. Of course there are other areas I want to focus on but once I've achieved this, I can get throw all my energy into my next goal.

AND FINALLY... Don't give up!!

I know how easy it is just to give up but those are just bad days, you are never going to feel great about the gym everytime you go, there'll be really bad days, bad days and good days. At least if you've attempted the gym on your bad days you'll feel ten times better than if you just didn't bother!

(If you haven't joined a gym, then I would highly recommend getting Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred if you want to tone up, its a beast but if you want a proper workout at home then this is it)

I hope this post wasn't too long and rambly and that you enjoyed it. Obviously these are just my personal opinions and things that have helped me get up off my backside and go to the gym, I'm definitely no fitness expert so please keep that in mind.
