The Healing Oil Treatment I was less excited to receive but that was purely because I didn't actually know what oils do. This treatment claims to add intense nourishment for frizz-free hair, leave hair manageable and shiny, natural UV protection and reduce drying time by 40-50%. Now thats a lot of claims to live up to, I certainly agree with the first three claims as my hair was beautiful soft after using this (on both dry hair and damp hair), this just left my hair so much nicer than before. I'm definitely a huge fan of this. However I didn't really notice a difference in drying time but this may be just me as I don't regularly dry my hair with a hairdryer so I couldn't really comment on that claim!

Overall these two hair products are really lovely and make such a big difference to my hair, my only negative with this brand is the price, with those prices its not something I would be able to buy on a regular basis and so instead it would be something I would put on Christmas and birthday lists. Its something I definitely enjoy using and I think my hair looks so much better with so I would definitely try and get hold of this again and definitely recommend it!

So I posted about these in a haul around two weeks ago and I have been using these Elf cream eyeshadows none stop ever since! I chose the colours Dawn and Pewter and in my opinion they are just the most beautiful shades.

The product comes in little glass pots which I loved and I just think they look really expensive which for £3.75 isn't bad! Firstly Pewter is a really nice silver shade and this is probably my most favourite out of the two. The consistency of this colour is very smooth and it blends really easily; I mostly use it as a base and it definitely helps prolong my eye makeup. If you have very oily eyelids like me you may also want to use an eyelid primer which is what I do if I need it to last all day. Pewter is also a perfect base colour for a smoky eye!!

On the other hand the Dawn colour I'm still not really sure about, the colour is a lovely neutral beige bronze colour, almost like a paler version of Maybelline's Colour Tattoo 'On and on Bronze', however its a bit more glittery than the Pewter one and definitely takes longer to blend. The consistency is also less smooth and doesn't really provide as nice a base as the Pewter one. I also got minimal creasing which is a win for me, those with normal eyelids probably wouldn't get any creasing! I'm not quite sure if the consistencies are meant to be different because as I mentioned in the haul, the size of the pots of different. Pewter contains 10g of product whereas Dawn only contains 4.7g of product and comes with a crappy brush, so I really hope they aren't changing all the other colours as well because I really like Pewter! 

Overall I would definitely repurchase, however I think you have to be willing to experiment with the colour because I think some are definitely better than others. I probably still prefer Maybelline's Colour Tattoo over these Elf Cream Eyeshadows as they last longer but the Colour Tattoo colour range is pretty pants to be honest so if you want a wider range of colours then definitely go for the Elf Cream Eyeshadow!

So the weathers been pretty nice over the past week, warm enough to wear shorts but not so warm that you sit there sweating away! This shirt is fast becoming one of my favourite items, it just seems to go with anything. I haven't worn my chelsea boots for ages and had almost forgotten that I had them; I think I stopped wearing them briefly because they were uncomfortable, but they are actually really comfortable! I really should start wearing them more.

Now I had almost forgotten about this nail polish when I pulled it out of my collection the other day. I had completely forgotten what a lovely dark red it was. I always find Topshop nail polishes very hit and miss, on the one hand I adore the colours and especially the range of colours; I think its great that a high street nail polish does such a vast amount of nice colours. However I do think the formulations vary from colour to colour. Along with this colour I have a few other Topshop nail polishes, my most favourite is Utilitarian which has a lovely formula and doesn't chip for ages, whereas this colour seems to chip almost the next day which is such a shame!

Anyway a lovely colour and worth a try as it may be different for you!

jeans - Topshop, shirt - Zara, jacket & clutch - New Look

I have recently realised I can wear these jeans high waisted and they look pretty cool (silly I know, especially since it says high waisted on the label, doh!). And they have been so easy to wear, especially with the weather not being able to make its mind up. Seriously though they go with absolutely anything and just seem to make my outfits more summery, go buy these jeans!!

This is also one of my favourite shirts, seems to add an effortlessly cool edge to any outfit (if I do say so myself!) I wish Zara would bring out a whole new range of shirts this season because the AW shirts don't seem quite as good as the SS ones!

In the past few weeks I've been more and more interested in primers, especially after that heatwave we had a couple of months ago! I came across this one a few weeks ago when I was waiting for my sister in Boots; I was really intrigued because the tube is tiny and I remember thinking that it can't last very long at that size. So I opened it up and put a bit on the back of my hand and was instantly won over! The colour and consistency of this product is quite strange at first, almost like it should be sticky except its not!! All you need is a tiny 1/2 a pea sized amount and it blends out perfectly; leaving a smooth velvety finish, such a perfect base for your foundation.

I can definitely say after using this for 10 days in Greece that it definitely prolongs foundation wear and stopped my foundation sliding off, it would stay put for a good 5 - 6 hours which for my skin in temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius is a miracle!

Honestly just go and test this out in a Boots store and you will see what I mean! Well recommended!

So this wishlist is slightly more muted with more of a Wintery feel as many shops are now releasing their AW clothes and there is so much good stuff!

I am in love with these H&M coated jeans and these Topshop jeans, I think they will be perfect for the Winter. Also those green shorts are lush, I may splash out and buy some because they would be great for going out in the evening. Finally this Topshop jumper is such a great item, unfortunately I can't afford Topshop knitwear because its so expensive, I will definitely buy the Topshop jeans though!

So this is my final holiday outfit of the day (I'm really rubbish for not doing more, will definitely recreate some of them!)
This dress was amazing while in Greece, its made of a light jersey material so it didn't make you feel too warm. I'm really enjoying t-shirt dresses at the moment, I think they are so versatile and I really wish I had got this in more colours!

So, Elf has always been one of those places where I have wanted to try so much stuff and recently there was an offer of £1 delivery (having missed the '50% off' the week before, gutted, I jumped at this offer!). Overall I was pretty happy with what I recieved, I will just give you a quick overview of what I bought, there will probably be proper reviews to come soon!

These three brushes were definitely my most favourite out of all my purchases. The powder brush has been hyped about so much over the blogging world, and I have to say I can see why. For £3.75 you get a super soft, dense buffing brush, perfect for applying powder and foundation. Then I also purchased TWO blending eye brushes, I had heard good things about these and for £1.50 I thought I may as well purchase two at the same time and I'm so glad I did. They are really nice, dense blending brushes that don't shed (so far..)!

These three products were experiments as I hadn't heard anything about them and so I sort of took a gamble, but they are so reasonably priced you can't really go wrong! The two cream eyeshadows were what I was most looking forward to trying as I'm loving cream eyeshadows at the moment, however I was a tad confused! These two cream eyeshadows in 'Dawn' and 'Pewter' are the same price (£3.75) however with the 'Pewter' one you get 10g of product yet the 'Dawn' one only comes with 4.7g of product and a rubbish brush!! Anyhow they are lovely colours, so far I quite like them but will let you know in more detail soon! The nail varnish is also really nice, I tried it on the other day and its a lovely texture and consistency!

Now it was these four brushes that I was really disappointed with. They are some of the worst quality I have ever tried, the moment I took them out of the packet they were brittle and were instantly shedding. Its such a shame because the blending brushes are perfect and are actually really good quality, so I will definitely be sending these back. As for the Zit Zapper, I have been using it for a couple of days but I haven't really tried it long enough to give you my opinion!

The Kleenex ones are slightly different. These consist of 50 fabric sheets that contain no powder at all. They blot out any oil and actually take it off your skin, leaving a matte not a powdery finish. They also manage to leave your make-up completely intact, no reapplying needed which is great.

So overall, I personally prefer the Kleenex ones purely because if I wanted a powdery finish I would simply carry around some powder with me instead. I really like that the Kleenex ones simply leave a matte finish, perfect for those of you who have excess shine but don't like powder!

I am in love with this nail varnish colour! I literally wore it throughout my holiday, on my fingers and toes. It just goes with every I own perfectly aha, however on the other hand the formula isn't so great. Its a little bit thick for my liking and means you can only really get away with two coats. to solve this though I just add a tiny bit of nail varnish remover to the nail polish and it thins it out a bit and makes it dry quicker!

I love this colour too much not to use it because of the formula:)

playsuit - ASOS, rings - Miss Selfridge, shoes - Decathlon

Firstly I'm going to apologise again because I promised lots of holiday outfits but to be honest I didn't wear that many new outfits, a lot of them were ones I have previously showed you guys and a couple I forgot to photograph so I may recreate them at some point! I'm also going to apologise because the lighting in my holiday outfit photos is awful, but unfortunately unavoidable!

I featured this playsuit in one of my wishlists and I am in love with it. The colour is amazing and I love the lazer detail. It also has a really nice cut out back which I am going crazy over at the moment (forgot to photo it, oops!) expect to see this again soon aha:)

Not really much else to say except this playsuit is the perfect light material in heat, this was definitely the outfit I felt coolest in, highly recommended if its still on the website!

So once again, I'm late with my July favourites:(, sorry guys! Anyway, most of my favourites this month have been hot summer related, in preparation and during my holiday to Corfu. 

Firstly probably one of my most used items this month is the MUA Undressed Palette; I am in love with this palette. The colours are so wearable and I have found myself using the pale taupe colours during the day over a primer and then adding some of the intense browns and blues through the crease and as a liner to create an evening look! Such an amazing palette, highly recommended.

Secondly, this is a fairly new one for me but definitely a winner so far, is Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. I have been looking for a tinted moisturiser for ages and I came across this (not a tinted moisturiser, I know!). This BB cream is towards the lighter end of a BB cream, more tinted moisturiser than foundation so its definitely a light coverage, which was perfect for going on holiday with. The SPF 30 was also a big winner for me, especially in Corfu!

Thirdly is the Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz. This toning spritz has been a lifesaver while I was in Corfu, I basically using this to freshen up in the morning after washing my face and it is so nice! I like to think of it as my Caudalie Beauty Elixir but more than half the price, I know Botanics have changed a lot of their formulas recently but this is one thing that is just as good if not better than before:)

Next is the 17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer, this primer is absolutely amazing. I won't say too much about this because I have a review coming soon but basically it leaves your skin so velvety and smooth and makes your foundation last so much longer and feel so much better as well!

Fifthly this Witch Blemish Stick has been a lifesaver. In the heat my skin breaks out a lot more, probably due to excess oil, however this blemish stick has been keeping my breakouts very short and sweet and my skin has consequently been so much clearer than it usually would be.

Last but not least, this month I have been loving this blusher by Natural Collection in 'Rosey Glow'. I've probably said before that I'm pretty new to blusher, I've always been more of an eyes and brows girl but I am in love with this blusher. Its definitely the perfect blusher for me, not too obvious but just enough, very muted!

I've had this primer from No7 for quite a while now but have only recently picked it up again because I started to get more of a red complexion on my nose and chin especially. I think I received this as a birthday present and it was probably the first primer I ever got. To be perfectly honest I wouldn't recommend it in the slightest!

I'm usually a big fan of No7 products and I, like many others, love it when I get the free £5 off No7 vouchers in Boots although actually I don't buy stuff from there very often. However this is one product I am so disappointed with. First of all the consistency of the primer is very thick which wouldn't be a problem if it went onto the skin well but instead as soon as you apply it to your skin it goes cakey, especially on less smooth areas such as your nose (it is less cakey on the cheeks). It is also really hard to blend so I've found that although it reduces redness on the red areas it leaves a green outline around the redness where the skin isn't so red, so it is almost impossible to apply nicely!

Some people have suggested mixing this primer with either your foundation or moisturiser and when you do this it does work a lot better however this is only really good if you have a red complexion everywhere which a lot of people don't! I have also heard some relatively good reviews on its smoothing qualities but I haven't found the smoothing ability to be very good either.

Overall I definitely wouldn't repurchase it. At £11 it just isn't worth it, it's cakey, thick and non-smoothing and the only thing I really like about it is the packaging.
