The guys over at Jacamo very kindly asked if I would like to do a blog post styling my boyfriend (now fiancee!!!) in their new range of menswear, in particular their jeans (Link Here). I jumped at the chance and chose this staple pair of skinny black jeans by a brand called Union Blues. They are a bargain at only £25, something that surprised my fiancee, and he said they fitted really well compared with the expensive jeans he usually buys. He loves his labels so anything that encourages him to buy more affordable clothing is a win win for me.

I paired the jeans with his new favourite trainers and the Jack Wills jumper I bought him for Christmas! Overall I'm quite pleased with the casual day look.

I can't believe how fast these weeks are going, I feel like my summer is disappearing in front of my eyes, madness! This top is from Topshop and me and my sister fell in love with it as soon as we saw it!! It goes with literally everything and is so good for dressing up jeans and shorts. I adore the print on this dress, couldn't believe it when I found it in Primark of all places!! It literally fits like a glove and the colours are absolutely stunning! Not bad for a tenner.

I've had such a busy week, finally got a job for the summer, which is great as it means I won't be so skint all the time (life of a student..). Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

During the summer I can honestly say that I live in denim shorts!! Seriously such an easy outfit to wear, denim shorts + silky cami = dream combo at the moment. My outfits are getting so monochrome at the moment, so much so that my family keep joking that I match with the new puppy (see my instagram for photos!). I don't know what it is but I'm just so drawn to black and white clothes, however I have ordered some more coloured stuff lately so will be showing you guys those when they arrive!

So it's been quite a long time since I last blogged and I don't know where the time has gone!! Since Easter I've just been so busy doing uni work and seeing people, I also had a few camera problems just after Easter but everything is all sorted now so hopefully I can get back into blogging regularly! I can't believe I have finished the second year of uni, only one year left!! So sad! However I am so looking forward to a summer of doing absolutely nothing haha.

I wore this playsuit on a night out to celebrate finishing exams and deadlines. I really love it, the detailing on the top of the playsuit is gorgeous and I think its great for people like me who love adding interest to an outfit without wearing bright colours!

 On another note we have just bought a beautiful cocker spaniel puppy who is literally the cutest thing ever!! He's adorable and so naughty! If you want to see plenty of pictures of him then follow me on instagram: @emilyyblane

I love simple outfits like this for the summer, a nice slouchy top and some high wasted shorts and you're all set! Please excuse the pasty legs, definitely need to get some fake tan on them!

This is such a simple outfit but I absolutely love it! This dress is from Topshop and although it is super short, I can't wait to wear it throughout summer. I'm seriously loving stripes at the moment, I think they make even the simplest of dresses or tops look good.

I'm now home for Easter which is so so nice, got so much work to do though which isn't so great!
