I'm sure many of you already know but Boots has recently had a 3 for 2 offer on and so naturally I couldn't resist getting a few new bits and pieces that I hadn't tried yet. One product that caught my eye was this Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Nail Polish, a bit of a mouthful to say. I'm not sure how long its been out for because I must admit that Barry M isn't usually a shelf I browse on regularly however I imagine its a fairly new release. I saw this dark burgundy shade and couldn't resist getting it now we are coming into Autumn.
I've never been one to go and get my nails done and so I wasn't sure what to expect with this nail polish. The nail polish is meant to deliver the look and lasting power of pro salon gel nail polish without the UV light or the cost. I have to say I was very impressed with it. I was a big fan of the Gelly Hi-Shine polishes by Barry M and in my opinion these are quite similar only the formula is a little thinner meaning you don't get thick and clumpy nails like I sometimes got with the Gelly Hi-Shine. I absolutely adore the colour and the polish lasted for a good 6 days before a tiny chip appeared on my first finger. All you need is a couple of coats of the colour and a coat of the special Sunset Topcoat and you're good to go. Definitely planning on going to get a few more shades when I'm next in Boots.
Have you tried these?
